This fabulous, soft fringed scarf can be worn as day or evening wear or slung round your shoulders as a decorative shawl. It is jacquard woven with a self-pattern of paisley motifs scattered across three bands of subtle colour ranging from cream through cappuccino to bitter chocolate.

Woven from eco-friendly viscose yarns made from banana, pineapple and other organic fibres, these scarves are then cut, finished and fringed by hand by groups of skilled craftspeople supported by a fair trade business development organisation in India.

These scarves are from Crafts Resource Centre and are made in Ludhiana City, the hub of the textile industry in the state of Punjab. The eco-friendly viscose yarns used are made in India from banana, pineapple and other organic fibres and are power-loom woven into a jacquard before being cut, finished and fringed by hand. CRC seeks to support the skilled work of craftspeople whilst promoting their independence by linking them with international trading organisations.
