The suppliers of Ethletic footballs were the first company to develop a pioneering project where stitching was organised into small work units with improved working conditions such as better lighting, ventilation and access to safe drinking water. Workers in these centres not only receive substantially increased wages but are also covered by health insurance. We pay a fairtrade premium on every Ethletic football so that wages are covered, insurance paid and a micro credit fund has been set up to allow workers and their families to start their own small businesses.
