This unique calendar looks at the year in terms of seasons. So instead of standard calendar grids, colourful three-foot long panels depict each of the earth's four seasons from solstice to equinox and vice versa. Each panel design reflects the spatial relationship between earth, sea and sky, while emphasising the procession of life from season to season. So, if you want to understand the natural cycle of things this calendar is a must for you.

The ECOlogical calendar seeks to re-conceptualise time in terms of the empirical world. It comes with a 6 page booklet that explains how the calendar works and examines its cultural and scientific background. The front of the panels shows visible planets, stars and constellations; terrestrial and meteorological data; tides and moon phases; Gregorian dates and the changing ration of daylight to darkness. The back of the panel display concise notes on natural history, ecology and astronomy topics; US, UK and Canadian civic holidays, as well as Christian, Jewish, Islamic and Pagan days of observation. The calendar makes a beautiful wall display, but its accordion-fold panels can just as easily be used as a desk.
