Sustainable furniture

Do you know where the wood used to make your furniture came from? If the shop you bought it from didn’t say that it was from a sustainable source, it is possible that purchasing that furniture contributed to deforestation. If there was no consumer demand for wood products made from unsustainable sources of wood, there would be less deforestation. Only you the consumer can make that choice: should I help the forests stay alive or should I help them be destroyed? Only buy wood furniture when it is cut from a sustainable source.
