Every kitchen should have one of these fantastic composters - it allows virtually all food waste (including meat, fish, diary and cooked food) to be composted at home, reducing the amount of household waste for collection. The system uses a natural bran-based activator called Bokashi (sounds like a Kung Fu movie) that is coated in friendly bacteria. This Bokashi, along with the tight fitting lid, ensures that there are no nasty odours in the kitchen. And after a few days the contents can be added to a traditional compost bin. There's even a drip tap to allow you to drain off liquid feed for use on plants.
