The Eco Lodge is a masterpiece of engineering and design proving it the most realistic eco-house on the market. The charming Lodge has many years of research behind its stunning exterior so is a factual representation that will teach children all about lowering their carbon footprint. The gently sloping green roof replicates a roof planted with Sedum, an evergreen plant. Sedum not only helps to replace the green areas lost when areas are developed, but replaces valuable oxygen into its surroundings. The roof also depicts solar and photovoltaic panels, harvesting sunlight to produce hot water and electricity for the house, whilst the rain gutters, gather water from any downpours whisking it away to be stored in the water butts. To ensure the tiniest of heating bills lands on the mat, housed within the Lodge there is a Trombe wall.

Made from rubberwood trees that have reached the end of their productive rubber-producing life. But don't worry, they're replaced with keen, new trees with many happy years of natural rubber production ahead of them. Paints, lacquers and finishes are water-based and non-toxic.
