Whether you are looking for a fair trade present or innovative gift, the Recycled Tin Seahorse is perfect. Everybody loves seahorses don’t they? Made from recycled steel wire and large colourful strips of old cans that shimmer in the light, this seahorse brightens up any room. No sea horses were harmed in the making of this product.

They are about 8 inches in length, with a hook to hang.

Made by B & B Craft & Recycling founded by Ben Ncube “the Can Man” who started as an individual artisan working in the new South African tradition of making crafts from recycled materials, such as tin cans and discarded wire and incorporating beads in his designs. As demand grew Ben started training apprentices in the art form, paying them a fair price for the products they produced. The training and production provides a sustainable income for a growing number of young people in Cape Town.
